Canvas is a learning management system that interfaces with Power School and enables teachers, parents, and students to access all digital learning tools in one place.
Canvas will allow teachers to post assignments and agendas and upload Powerpoints and handouts for students to access and more easily communicate with parents and interact with students about what is happening in their classes. Students and parents can access Canvas to see a single calendar that identifies upcoming assignments for all classes and access important documents and notes when a student misses a class.
Canvas also integrates with several other programs that are currently being used in the district, including
Turnitin.com, Revision Assistant, McGraw Hill ConnectEd, Quizlet, Khan Academy, making this a one stop shop for everything a student needs to be successful in their classes.
